Many remember her as a serial bride, creator of the Diamonds fragrance, star of “Cleopatra” and “Cat on a Hot Tin Roof.” To me, though, she’ll always be Martha, the meaner, boozier half of the spitefully witty, warring duo that cement “Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?” into place as one of my all-time favorite films. Rest in peace, Elizabeth.
