Better than anyone I know! Ba-dum-bum.
OK, I’ll put on my serious face now because I do have a serious (if slightly odd) request: Readers, can you suggest some films that start with the … less utilized letters of the alphabet? You know, the ones that consistently get picked last for kickball? The letters Q, V, Y and Z are looking a little lonesome in my A-Z reviews collection, while X got so bored and hungry he wandered away one day when I was busy overfeeding “S” and “B.”
So let’s hear your suggestions — any movies (good, bad, terrifically terrible) that start with those letters.

Zodiac
Wow — thanks, everyone, for loads of great suggestions! Those lonely categories won’t be feeling so lonely soon.
@ Kai — Somehow I knew “Road House” would show up in your suggestions! 🙂 And WOW aren’t you quite the overachiever?
@ Alex — “Zombie Strippers” is one I’ve always been curious about .. you’re talking about the Pam Anderson one, right? Last Halloween I saw one on the Sci-Fi Channel that had the same title but a bunch of no-name actors.
@ Stu — I’ve seen “Zodiac” and loved it, but this reminds me to review it!
@ Film Reel — I didn’t even think of movies that started with the word “zombie,” but it sounds promising.
@ Unruly + Heather — Both of you suggested “Xanadu,” so I think we have a winner!
Zombie Strippers is with Jenna Jameson actually but yeah I think we’re thinking of the same one! It’s weird and funny and I found it pretty entertaining. I think I’m one of the few though, so tread carefully.
Quadrophenia is definitely worth watching Alex…and M. Carter! Would recommend Zulu for the ‘Z’s.
Okay, I was going to suggest a couple, but would be too embarrassed to now, with the lengthy lists compiled by some other members of the film mafia!
I can’t believe no one mentioned “The Quiet American” with Michael Caine. Now that – that is a goodie.
Quarantine! Did someone already say that?
[…] Can I ask a weird question? […]
I wanted to mention The Quiet American and The Virgin Suicides…but looks like I’m a month late. But here’s two that have not been mentioned.
Q
The Quiet
V
