Happy “Alice in Wonderland”-in-3D-Opens-in-Theaters-Nationwide Day, Interwebbers!
(My sincerest apologies. When I get this excited about a movie, I’m taken over by ROY–G-BIV demons.)
I don’t know if y’all know this, but the only appropriate ways to celebrate this happy day are:
- Sing “Happy Happy, Joy Joy” long enough to lift your spirit but not so long that your coworkers call the Men in White Coats to take you away.
- Work the phrases “Cheshire Cat grin,” “down the rabbit hole” and “off with her head!” into conversations where they have absolutely no business. Alternately, go to the office fridge at lunchtime (when the masses converge), look inside and demand, in shocked tones, to know: “Who stole the tart?”
- Go see the movie. Duh.
Happy viewing!

Looking forward to your review!
Can’t Wait! (obviously)
Why ever would YOU be excited about the very story from which you took your name, MH? 🙂
I am annoyed that I must wait until Sunday afternoon to see this but that will have to do since I have to wait for the kids to be home.
Usually I have a ‘cheshire cat grin’ on my face when they go to their mother’s since I won’t be screaming ‘off with their heads’ at them all weekend. But I didn’t want to wait to go ‘down the rabbit hole’ for so long.
Hmmm, not bad, I got all those in one statement! Mission accomplished!
Looking forward to what you have to say about Alice! I’m probably check it out sometime during my spring break this coming week.
I was waiting for this day for so long and then I was sick yesterday 😦
I like “Happy-Happy-Joy-Joy” but prefer “Peanut-Butter-Jelly-Time” myself.
Not sure how I feel about this one. The emphasis on the 3-d for all these movies is starting to bug me… and why not shoot in 3-d instead of converting after… UGH! Anyway, look forward to your words on this one.
And, WTH is a ROY G. BIV Demon? Did I miss something?
Can’t wait to read your review of it. I wasn’t blown away, to be honest (felt more like Lord of the Rings then the book on my bedside locker).
I went to see this last night, and was disappointed 😦 I was so looking forward to it as well.
Can’t wait to hear what you thought of it M.Carter
